Differences Between the Lincoln MKS and the Lincoln MKZ

Here at Mountaineer Lincoln, we’ll be the first to say that, although Lincoln makes the best luxury vehicles anywhere, the way the vehicles are named can be a bit confusing to those not familiar with the brand. So when you have two models like the Lincoln MKS and the Lincoln MKZ, distinguishing between the two can be somewhat difficult. That is, unless you have the Mountaineer Lincoln guide for the difference between the two models.

Lincoln vehicles share some similarities across the board in their design. However, the Lincoln MKS has a more traditional sedan look, while the Lincoln MKZ looks somewhat futuristic with its styling.

When it comes to the cabin, the Lincoln MKS has a bit more room for passengers than the Lincoln MKZ does, in terms of head room, leg room, hip room, shoulder room, and more.
Lincoln stocks all its models with the best features. That being said, the speaker system inside the Lincoln MKS outperforms the one found inside the Lincoln MKZ.

Engines vary for each model by trim, but drivers of the 2015 Lincoln MKS can choose between a 3.7-liter 24-valve Ti-VCT V6 and a 3.5-liter Twin Turbo Charged Direct Injection EcoBoost® V6. Drivers of the 2016 Lincoln MKZ have their choice among a 2.0-liter GTDI I-4 EcoBoost, a 2.0-liter Atkinson-Cycle I-4 hybrid engine, and that very same 3.7-liter V6 in the Lincoln MKS.
Whether you choose the reliable Lincoln MKS or the energized Lincoln MKZ, there is a perfect Lincoln luxury sedan waiting for you!
